My Story

Waldah's History

Waldah’s father abandoned the family so she is being raised by her single-mother Sophia. Her mom works as a seasonal crop farmer growing bananas, beans and cassava. She supplies most of her produce to schools around her community. As a long-term investment, with support from Children of Uganda and her FASTrack partner, Sophia has also planted coffee alongside her other crops to boost her income.
